This is the most comprehensive book dealing with creeping bentgrass management. The author covers all aspects of bentgrass management from disease identification, management and control to the control of annual bluegrass with various growth regulators and chemicals. Unlike other books, however, this one talks about common problems that arise that are mistaken for disease issues and lead to the application of wasted chemicals. If you are a golf course superintendent or a turf student there are two books that you must have; The Turf Compendium and this one. You will not be disappointed.

Due to the fact that I knew I wanted to write my "Extended Essay" (a 4000 word essay required by the International Baccalaureate Program) in Spanish, I checked this book out from the local university library. Not only did it give me inspiration for a topic, but it has a great number of useful references as well. Very informative and interesting.

There is a very good reason why this book is currently out of stock. The images are beautifully composed, the subject matter thought-provoking, and print quality is flawless. Hard to believe that this photographer is relatively unknown in the U.S. If you can get your hands on a copy, it's well worth a look.

The colorful illustrations sensitively portray the seriousness of the situation and the whole families' struggle to come to grips with it.

One could say that Joe Bolton's subject matter is largely nostalgic; however, that skims the surface of his work. His mastery of language and his poetic sensibilities are those of a seasoned poet well beyond Mr. Bolton's years. His work subtly and sometimes directly pays homage to many great poets who have come before him--and Bolton IS a great poet (not one solely driven by youthful enthusiasm or romanticism.) He beckons the reader to, "Say this life, and let it be enough, for once." The fact that he fell victim to suicidal depression is a great loss to the world of literature. It has been a long, long time since I have read work as powerful and well wrought as Joe Bolton's. I imagine it will be some time before I see such work again. I highly recommend this book.

If you're looking for a basic book about the Gulf War and its many aspects, you couldn't go wrong with this one. Just the sort of high quality and good writing you would expect from Military History Magazine!

I have never heard of such beautiful music played on a solo piano alone. Robin Speilberg has done it! I first played her Anthem of My Heart from the New Age Wedding Collection. That song has really inspired me to play Music well. Every time her songs are played on my piano, I was asked to play them again! Her songs are great played as they sound on her CD! I enjoy listening to her songs as well as performing them! Her songs and my piano cannot part every since I got my hands on this book. Trust me, I'm sure you'll enjoy this book as well. You'll explore your hands on a variety of styles.
